A summer on the glacier is a rite of passage for every serious skier, and being an Oregon-based company blesses us with year-long skiing at Mt. Hood. As an ode to our homecourt, we flew the team out, set ’em loose at Timberline, and filmed our third in-house video, ON3P 3.
After narrowly avoiding being cut by the network, the Heart of Skiing film crew is back to tape another season. Zane makes his return from an unsuccessful run at Superunknown and his pursuits to join the Bunch seem to not be paying off. Controversy runs high as Zane starts rocking a yellow vest the same day Magnus loses his.

The magic feet, the long shoes, the slippery sticks we manufacture then bolt, strap and heli-coil ourselves onto. These are the peacemakers of humanity and mother nature. Without them, we have limitations, with them, we have none. Newcomer urban skier Cam Riley joins the likes of Kye Petersen, Wiley Miller, David Wise, Eric Hjorleifson and Thayne Rich in 4FRNT’s 5th annual feature team film, Shaping Skiing.

4FRNT’s 6th team movie theme is centered on a world where nearly everyone’s heads are buried in a mobile device and friendships and interactions between humans are dwindling. People would rather live through the Internet than spend actual quality time outside with real people.
Roadside camping in AK with Wiley Miller, Hoji checks in from a snowcave somewhere in BC, Cam Riley double kinks his way into oncoming traffic, David Wise breaks a World Record, Eirik Finseth hit ludicrous speed in Norway and Thayne Rich proves he’s the next big thing in skiing.

Earth. Fire. Water. Wind. Each of us connects with nature differently through the classical elements. Through that connection one finds solace. Follow the 4FRNT Team around the globe in search of communion with Mother Nature and see how they connect to these elements through the sublime art of skiing

Skiing is not art, and skiers are not artists. Unless, of course, skiing is art and skiers are artists? Faction’s fourth feature film exhibits pure creativity through a series of freeski sequences—from the vibrant streets of Japan, to the powdery pillows of British Columbia, to the finely-manicured terrain parks of Switzerland and Italy. Each location provides a blank canvas for the team’s artistic expression. Because nothing screams “artist” like sending large cliffs and grinding the side of buildings.
