January is often a period of big comps within the Freeski world. Our two skiers where separate by 12 hours of planes, both where involve on big event, Kevin on the Killington Dew Tour and Xavier at Kreischberg for the World cup. Despite the gap, the two shined since both of them won comps, it is a golden episode !!! enjoy

FollowUs.tv’s team left Aspen Colorado and took the direction of Tanner Hall and Tom Walish famous home resort, Park City Utah. This week, the resort hosts the Freestyle world championship, where for the first time there will be the Slope Style appearance. Pipe’s finals went down under a huge wind storm, congrats to Mike Riddle 1st, Kevin won a second medal after the gold at X games, he took the 2nd rank, Xavier heart himself during a training session and fight hard to grab the 6 position.

Xavier went back to France in order to do exams after his fall at the superpipe world championships. Great news however : Kevin and Benoit Valentin have killed the Last stop of the Dew Tour in Snow Basin. Kevin is definitely the big boss of Superpipe riding worldvover, He has won the general ranking of Dew Tour 2011.

DewTour Killington

L’équipe FollowUs.Tv est de retour…Nous avons pris l’avion de Genéve à Salt Lake City pour rejoindre la station de Park City. Les conditions n’étant pas terribles, nous avons pris la route pour aller skier à Breckenridge, la Mecque du ski freestyle. Nous avons passé quelques temps-là bas pour que les skieurs puissent s’entrainer comme il faut …Après les quelques jours de trainings, nous avons pris un vol pour la deuxième étape du Dew Tour à Killington. La température est glaciale, le half-pipe est béton armé, il neige, les skieurs n’arrivent pas trop à s’adapter au half-pipe. Les qualifications ne se sont pas très bien passées pour Ben et Toto, avec deux grosses chutes, ils n’accèdent pas aux finales. Xavier se qualifie pour la finale et Kevin est qualifié d’office du à son dernier résultat au premier Dew Tour. Kevin change son run au dernier moment, il n’arrive pas à se faire à la courbe gelée du demi tube, il termine à la 5 ème place. Xavier, tombe sur ces deux doubles mac twist, sur ces deux runs, pas de chance, il obtient quand même un oeuf sur le coude … En direct d’Aspen, nos skieurs sont chauds bouillants pour les X GAMES d’Aspen, ça risque d’être fort en émotion.
