Three weeks ago I had ACL & meniscus surgery. In this video I’m showing some exercises what I am doing for recovery, talking about the progress and sharing a tip how to start with cycle trainer after surgery. And remember, it´s always better to do all the exercises with supervisor! And thank you all for the support for the ACL recovery!
Time flies and it almost feels like my ACL surgery was just yesterday. I did some exercises in a swimming pool this week for the first time and it was great, though it was a bit hard to keep myself balanced at the beginning, but it was a great change from everyday routine. Also tested my injured knee to see how strong (weak) it actually is and I had no idea that the difference between the other leg can be so remarkable. So, have a look how the ACL recovery went this week.
It`s six weeks post op video and I am giving an overview how things started and how far have I come. I love setting myself a little goals to reach for. This is what keeps me motivated to always push harder. Reaching set goals feels very satisfying and increases the motivation even more. Besides showing my favorite exercises and the current situation of my leg I visited kryotherapie for the first time. So, have a look how ACL recovery has gone for so far.
We made it to Austria and I’ll spend some weeks here doing my ACL recovery. We are doing a lot of endurance training, also strength training is very important to get power back into my legs. Dimove was really nice, I almost was back on the skis with that. So, have a look how I am doing after 2 months of my ACL surgery.
Henry came to Austria to visit me, was really nice to see him, I missed him so much. We had a great time here in Austria, we went to see the Faction movie and also did a tour in Red Bull Hangar 7. Comment below have you ever been to Hangar 7 and what do you think about that?
I’m in Austria for my ACL recovery and it’s already 10 weeks since my surgery. My knee gets stronger and also more stable so I was able to do some jumps on the trampoline, I was really waiting for that time when I can start jumping again and for sure it was very great. But what else I did? Have a look!
My six weeks in Austria got to end and I am going back home for Christmas. I think it is my favorite holiday, family is together and that is the best gift I could ask for. I had so much fun in the training center and I´m going to miss this place. Thank you all so much for the great times! But now have a look my last week in Austria, enjoy! Also Merry Christmas! PS! Let me know which Christmas present is your favorite so far?
How We Started Our Own Line of Snacks / Vlog1 – 2018
Release date: January 14, 2018
I love to stay active and eating something between the meals keeps me going. I like eating different snacks (in moderate amounts) but dreamed about my own. So, for a long time we have had an idea to do a tasty snack but didn´t get the right feeling or idea to go forward with something certain until we met the right people in spring 2017 and things started to roll. Together with Estonia’s top chef Imre Kose we developed a new high-quality kvarkbar and it was named KellyBar 🙂 Creating it was fun. We started with baking some home made cakes after our own recipy, Imre studied these and in cooperation with us we developed unique flavors that work well with kvarkbars.
Wait! What is a kvarkbar? Hush … a kvarkbar is actually a tasty and well-kept secret of Estonia. For 70 years these lovely snacks have been a cult food here – they are loved so much that every Estonian eats 40 kvarkbars a year. Also known as quark, these little treats are made of curd cheese and traditionally glazed in chocolate or caramel. This protein-rich, dairy-based alternative is the cheapest and most convenient way to replace regular snacks.
KellyBars are produced on the ecologically pristine island of Saaremaa. They come with a variety of fillings, such as strawberry-rhubarb, baked apple cinnamon, gooseberry-coconut and cocoa with cookies. All this goodness is glazed in toffee, yogurt, or Belgian chocolate.
Soon you can get them from Estonia but hopefully from other places as well!
Today is very important day for Estonian people. We are celebrating 100 jubilee of independence. Celebrations have been going on whole this week but today (24 February) is the main day. For me it is very special day. I’ve been waiting so long for that time and I’m super happy to ski again. Now I can’t wait when I can go back to jumps and rails.
Our vlog is back! This trip takes us to Finland, where I (Henry) took part of Finnish Championships and could say I’m happy with my result. Had fun times with Antti Ollila filming for Faction and I think he is an amazing skier. But also we picked up my mum and Kelly from the airport and started our trip to Levi.
