Stept’s 2012 ski film presents a migration from ski resorts, to cities, and back to the mountains. Everyone in the Stept crew skis, films, and works on the project together, sneaking from location to location, taking the term guerilla filmmaking to new levels. Facing obstacles like broken cars, fires, law enforcement, competitions, water parks, parents and Denver Broncos Security, they’re able to consistently pick up, leave, and continue filming elsewhere. The Eighty Six.

Discussion with freeski legend and X-Games medalist, Parker White.
Parker is a freeskiing legend. He has now been a pro skier for over 15 years, cumulating legendary film segments with level 1, in X Games’ real ski competition, through his web series The big picture and more recently with his trilogy of films ( nothing nothing new and something). Last season , Parker led the charge for a level 1 full movie comeback . In their movie Wasteland parker produced a banger segment split between street skiing and Alaska skiing.
In this episode we talk about a bunch of stuff ranging from the production of Wasteland, getting back into the streets after a 10 year break, filming in Alaska for the first time and much much more.
The always entertaining Parker White with his trademark mullet and quick wit joins the LPP this week. Skiing has been all he’s really known but is also what he still really loves.
Parker White is one of the most creative, stylish skiers out there today. He’s known for his Level 1 Segments, his friendship with Darkness, and the style he brings to the backcountry. He’s one of the more likeable people in skiing and while he’s only 28, he grew up fast in the ski world, moving from the East Coast to Mammoth at an age when most people are thinking about getting a driver’s license. He’s also started brands, developed a line of skis and a whole lot more.
