    Skiing is not art, and skiers are not artists. Unless, of course, skiing is art and skiers are artists? Faction’s fourth feature film exhibits pure creativity through a series of freeski sequences—from the vibrant streets of Japan, to the powdery pillows of British Columbia, to the finely-manicured terrain parks of Switzerland and Italy. Each location provides a blank canvas for the team’s artistic expression. Because nothing screams “artist” like sending large cliffs and grinding the side of buildings.     They say the lack of sunlight affects our mood- that the natural balance of the human mind state quickly shifts with presence of the giant solar fireball in the sky. But this isn’t about winter blues or summer depression. Sunny is a mental disposition, and not just one reserved for beaches and fun parks. Level 1 injected a positive mood into the ski season – giving a dose of light therapy to dark northern landscapes of Scandinavia, Alaska, Japan and British Columbia.     Roughly six years ago, a group of unknown skiers and friends followed their dreams of moving out west in the hopes that the endless snowfall, massive mountains, and unending skiing opportunities of their dreams would become a way of life. That first winter they produced their inaugural film, “Look it Up”, a declaration of a new generation of freestyle skiers fostering a movement of creativity and style beyond the stagnant and oftentimes robotic nature of the contest environment- a glimpse of skiing’s future and the foundation of the 4bi9 legacy. While the past has been an unforgettable journey, the future holds even bigger things for the 4bi9 crew. Thus, it is at this time that we are proud to present our sixth feature-length film, “Keep Looking.”
