    The Masquerade is a conceptual freeski movie by Super Proof Inc., directed by Leigh Powis and starring Sean Pettit. It blends high-level backcountry skiing in Alaska with an eccentric “thriller” storyline, featuring a plot about five skiers scamming the industry, set in Whistler, BC. The film is known for its artistic, slightly bizarre, Lynchian style, mixing intense ski action with dramatic, almost abstract, narrative scenes.

    Introduced to the world when he joined the Armada team at only 14, Torin quickly became one of the best skiers in the world with his unique style, deep bag of tricks and incredible results in halfpipe competitions. For close to ten years, Torin dominated the pipe competition scene with constant podiums in the worlds biggest events. He finished his competitive career with multiple Dew tour and world cups podiums, a total of 8 x games medals including 3 gold and 2 olympics appearances (Sochi and PyeongChang). In the past fours seasons, Torin fully transitioned to the film side of the sport, starting his own production company, Deviate Films. He now spends most of his seasons producing and starring in ski movies skiing everything from Street, to pow and parkshoots for our viewing pleasure.
